So, the introduction. This is usually the hardest post to write, but this time it isn’t so bad because I have been planning this project for a few days now. Actually, if you count the original idea of a vlog, then it probably is more like a few months. Maybe I should get to the actual content and write about my least favorite subject, me. Don’t get me wrong, I think I am a wonderful person; I just find it hard to write about myself without finding it to sound conceited or pretentious.
I am a 22 year old college graduate who is working at a part time job in the fast food business. I blame not having found a full time job on “the economy”, but, to tell you the truth, I haven’t been looking that hard. I go to apply for a job and then I chicken out because I am afraid of the new. Instead of growing some balls and apply for a full time job I have decided to go to community college and learn sign language and astronomy. This way I won’t have to worry about my student loans while ‘improving’ myself.
Now that you know a little about me, I will tell you about my project: I want to write a yearlong blog. I know that it shouldn’t seem that tough, but I tend to lose steam on projects halfway through. I figure if I write what I want to do in a public form, then I will be more likely to last the year. On with the rules:
Rules:
- Post at least once a week (week being defined as Sunday through Saturday)
- Each post has to be at least 100 words.
- Must remain honest with myself and the reader
This is going to start on January 1st, but I might start blogging sooner if I still am bored because of forced vacation time.
